Keep your home organized, safe, and pet friendly with the Extra Wide Freestanding Dog Gate, designed to create secure boundaries without drilling, tools, or complicated setup. Its no assembly design makes it easy to place wherever you need it, while the extra wide 144 inch coverage and tall 32 inch height help block doorways, hallways, open spaces, and larger entry points with confidence.
Built with a sturdy metal frame and a convenient walk through door, this folding accordion style gate gives you both control and everyday convenience. Whether you are managing a playful puppy, separating rooms, or keeping pets away from certain areas, the Extra Wide Freestanding Dog Gate offers a flexible, durable, and practical solution that moves with your home’s needs.
How To Assemble
Step 1: Unpack the Gate
Carefully remove the gate from the packaging. Check that all panels, hinges, support feet, and the walk-through door are intact.
Step 2: Unfold the Panels
Gently expand the accordion-style panels. Open them slowly until the gate reaches the width needed for your space.
Step 3: Position the Gate
Place the gate across the doorway, hallway, room opening, or wide area you want to block. Adjust the panels into a slight zig-zag shape for better balance and stability.
Step 4: Secure the Support Feet
If support feet are included, attach or slide them onto the bottom of the gate panels. Make sure they sit flat on the floor to help prevent tipping.
Step 5: Adjust the Width
Extend or angle the panels until the gate covers the full space. Avoid placing it completely straight unless the design is stable enough, as a slight angle gives better support.
Step 6: Test the Walk-Through Door
Open and close the built-in door to make sure it moves smoothly. Check that the latch closes properly before allowing your pet near the gate.
Step 7: Check Stability
Gently push the gate from both sides to confirm it stands firmly. Reposition the panels or feet if the gate feels unsteady.
Step 8: Move or Store When Needed
To relocate or store, fold the panels back together and lift the gate carefully. Keep it in a dry indoor space when not in use.
